Nemzeti Bajnoks?g II is the second tier of Hungarian football. The champion and the runner-up will ascend to the first division while the two lowest teams in NB I are relegated to NB II.

On 19 June 2017, it was announced that the Hungarian Football Federation accepted all of the licenses of the 2017?18 Nemzeti Bajnoks?g II clubs.
